• The Craft forums exist so that players can communicate with each other freely and provide support. This memorandum has been written to provide you with information on what you can expect from the admins and what is expected of you.
  
  PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DOCUMENT SET OUT BELOW BEFORE POSTING.
  
  1. Forum Rules
  
  
  1.1 Discussion is fine, however we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts or argumentum ad hominem. Users who make such posts will be automatically banned as this is a very clear rule. No warning given.
  
  1.2 There will be no open discussion on forums about users who are banned for posting content as outlined above. The moderator\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s decision is final and will not be entered in to. Any user that tries to do so will be given a warning first and then a ban if they continue.
  
  1.3 Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) nonsensical posts or the like. They will be deleted.
  
  1.4 Making posts to get your post count up will also be deleted.
  
  1.5 Advertising other servers is not allowed for obvious reasons, it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s simply disrespectful to us. Any such posts will be deleted.
  
  1.6 Posts that are sexual in nature are not allowed and will be deleted. This is because of younger users reading the forums.
  
  1.7 Spamming and trolling is not allowed. For definition of a troll visit this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_(internet)
  
  1.8 There may be posts that are not outlined here that are deemed inappropriate by moderators and will be dealt with as the moderator sees fit. It is impossible for us to imagine every single scenario which is why I have added this caveat.
  
  1.9 It is acceptable for you to post screen shots as long as they don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t violate any of our acceptable use policies.
  
  1.10 In regards to profanity, we will remove such posts and a warning given. If you are warned a second time a temp ban will be placed on you. This is again because of younger users.
  
  1.11 Any signatures violating forum policies will be removed and you will be asked to replace it.
  
  1.12 Posts that contain links to viruses will be deleted and you will be banned. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"You\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve just been Rickrolled\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" ones are fine however :P
  
  1.13 When answering technical questions on the forums, please refrain from saying useless things like \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"STFU\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"RTFM\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" or \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"are you stupid?\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" I don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t care if you think you are an omniscient being, it is rude and ignorant.
  
  1.14 Moderators may decide to send a topic to jail if it requires a huge effort to moderate. This basically means that a topic is getting out of hand with too many users getting heated and violating forum policies, so it is closed.
  
  1.15 Moderators must set the status of bugs posted on the forums. For example: fixed, awaiting user, awaiting patch, can\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t fix.
  
  1.16 Posting people\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s personal information will not be allowed. Photos do not fall under this category, but details such as address, phone number or email do. I will be happy to provide police with information on you if need be so I would advise against this.
  
  1.17 Any threats made to other users will be kept on record and provided to police as well if required. Lukey threatening to bash Vapor in would be an example of this. Again I would advise against making such posts.
  
  1.18 Threads on religion/politics/linux vs windows will be deleted as they are nothing to do with World of Warcraft and are not something we wish to have to moderate.
  
  
  2. In Game Rules
  
  
  2.1 Anyone caught using hacks or advertising hacks in game will be booted and the banhammer used on them.
  
  2.2 Users that find an exploited quest that gives you excessive amounts of experience for example and do not report it will have their experience and any items gained from it removed.
  
  2.3 GMs that use their access to give themselves or others items to cheat will be removed as a GM.
  
  2.4 GMs are not taxis so don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t bother asking us to teleport you around.
  
  2.5 If a GM is being abused by a player then it is perfectly acceptable for them to warn them to drop it or be kicked.
  
  2.6 A GM will send out a global notify if a player is banned. The message will include the player name and the reason for the ban.
  
  2.7 Personal fights or profanity in game will not be moderated unless it is posting personal information such as address, phone number or email address. Use the profanity filter if you do not wish to see it.
  
  2.8 Please refrain from asking to become a GM as it is highly irritating and we have plenty of other things to deal with. If you show GM qualities you will be asked to become a GM.
  
  2.9 The policies outlined here may be revised at a later date and be subject to change.
